Suncica i Zvezdan (Yu Strip 174)

Milan Bukovac is a Serbian comic artist and cartoonist from Futog, Serbia. He has published in many magazines from Former Yugoslavia and abroad since 1966. He made his first comics in 1979, when he won a prize for his strip 'Sunčica i Zvezdan', that was published in Yu Strip. He has since then published his work in Politikin Zabavnik ('Traponje'), Denis ('Pega'), Stripoteka ('Slonko'), YU Strip ('Trapavzan', 'Zoohumorijada', 'Sunčica i Zvezdan'), Strip Zabavnik ('Go Go'), Veseli svet ('Radisa'), Kekec ('Ljupko i Cupko'), NIP Dnevnik ('Ad Grizli') and Futoške novine ('Komšije').

He has furthermore more drawn for the Pink Panther title (based on Friz Freleng's character) by Semic in Sweden, and his work was featured in 100 Blagues in France and Humour Graphic in Italy. Bukovac is also active as a graphic designer and illustrator. He has illustrated several books with aphorisms, and is the author of the advertising cartoon 'Marko'.
