American Tragedy
Florent Calvez made his debut in 2005 with the one-shot comic 'U-29', which he made with Rotomago for the publishing house Akileos. He was then hired by Delcourt to draw the trilogy 'Les Aventures Extraordinaires de Nelson Lobster' from scripts by Eric Corbeyran in 2006-2008.

His first solo comic was the Lovecraft adaptation 'Reanimator', published in Delcourt's Mirages collection in 2008. He then drew installments in the collective series 'Jour J' (two books in 2010) and 'Sept' (2011), both with scriptwriter Fred Duval for Delcourt. Delcourt also published his next solo comic, 'American Tragedy', the story of two Italian immigrants in Boston in the 1920s (2012).
