New York City cartoonist Jennifer Camper has been contributing her work to variety of alternative and queer publications since the 1980s. Camper's comics have made appearances in The Village Voice, The Advocate, Out, Girlfriends, San Francisco Bay Times, Ms. Magazine, On Our Backs, Out Magazine and Curve, and in anthologies like 'Boy Trouble', 'Gay Comics' and 'QU33R'. A collection of her comics and cartoons called 'Rude Girls and Dangerous Women' was published by Laugh Lines Press in 1994. In 1999, Cleis Press released her book book, 'SubGURLZ', about three women who live in abandoned subway tunnels. Camper is also the editor of the queer comic anthology 'Juicy Mother', of which two volumes have appeared in 2005 and 2007.
