Gaspare Cassaro forms one of the few pairs of twin cartoonists with his brother Gaspare. Born in Licata, Agrigento, they studied at the Academy of Florence and made their debut in 1975 with the comic 'Betty Queen' for Universo. They subsequently worked on the books 'Il segno rosso del coraggio' and 'Charlie Parker' for Ottaviano, and on stories for LancioStory and Full. They began an association with the publishing house Bonelli, for which they drew 'Bella & Bronco' and 'Martin Mystère'. On his own, Gaetano Cassaro has illustrated several 'Zagor' stories.
