Où es-tu Léopold?

Vincent Caut is a comic book artist from Melun, near Paris. He started blogging his comics from a young age, and became second in the Révélation Blog contest at the 2009 Angoulême Comics Festival. This award allowed him to publish his first album, 'Le Trésor de l’Île Mokoko', at Diantre! in 2010. He has chronicled his life as an Applied Arts student in 'Soit dit en passant - Journal d'un étudiant', a book published by Makaka in 2010.

With writer Michel-Yves Schmitt, he makes the children's comic series 'Où es-tu Léopold?', about a boy that can become invisible, for Dupuis since 2011. Caut also produces artwork for children's publications like Okapi and Phosphore. With Romain Pujol, he created 'Avni', an "unidentified animal" whose adventures appear regularly in Toboggan magazine of Milan Presse.

Other works by Caut are the booklets 'Quelle tête en l'air!' (Makaka, 2010) and 'Les aventures de la fin du monde' (12bis, 2012). He has provided the artwork for 'La ligue des économistes extraordinaires', a documentary comic about economy by Benoist Simmat (Dargaud, 2014).
