Paul Cauuet grew up in Toulouse with a father who was an ad artist and comics collector. Soon, Paul was fascinated by comics as well, and went to study Plastic Arts. He took courses in comics by Régis Loisel, where he met Guillaume Clavery. With Clavery as his scenarist, Cauuet made his comics debut with the series 'Aster' at Delcourt between 2003 and 2008. He subsequently began an association with Wilfrid Lupano for the sci-fi series 'L'honneur des Tzarom' (Delcourt, 2009-2011) and the critically praised dramatic comedy about three elderly men 'Les Vieux Fourneaux' for Dargaud from 2014.
