Mr. Bodger, by S. W. Cavenagh 1897

S.W. Cavenagh was a British comic artist active in the late 19th century. He was born Samuel Waring Cavenagh in Donnybrook, Dublin as the son of a bookbinder. The family was living in Camberwell, London, by the 1890s, where Samuel was working as a ornamental leather manufacturer. He also turned to cartooning, making comic panels like 'Mr Bodger' for The Funny Wonder by the Amalgamated Press around 1897, and cartoons for The Windsor Magazine. He passed away in Rochford, Essex in the second quarter of 1926.
