Le Grand Large, by Gilles Cazaux

Gilles Cazaux began his career in advertising, before he turned to animation. He worked at Ellipsanime, where he did storyboards for the television series based on Hergé's 'Tintin' and Henry Vernes' 'Bob Morane'. He also cooperated on the animated 'Corto Maltese' film (2002), based on Hugo Pratt's comic series of the same name. Cazaux worked on two collective comics albums about Boris Vian and Edith Piaf at Vents d'Ouest. With Thierry Soufflard, he started 'Le Grand Large' in 2002. He cooperated with Arthur Qwak on 'Mémoires d'un Incapable'. He made a graphic contribution to the book 'Françaises, Français, Belges, Belges, Lecteur Chéri, Mon Amour' (Jungle!, 2005), in which comic artists illustrated short stories by comedian Pierre Desproges.
