Blitzkrieg Boome, by Arturo Cazeneuve

Arturo Cazeneuve was an Argentinian artist, who came to the USA to work in the comic book industry in 1939, together with his brother Louis. Working through the Eisner-Iger shop and sharing a studio with Pierce Rice and Charles Flanders, he was mainly an inker on National/DC features like 'Newsboy Legon and the Guardian', 'The Vigilante' and 'Star Spangled Kid and Stripesey' during the first half of the 1940s. He also did inking jobs for Harvey Comics and Fox Comics. For these companies, he also did pencils however, on features like 'The Flame', 'The Lynx', 'Black Cat' (with Pierce Rice) and 'Blockbuster Barton'. He was an illustrator for the Army newspaper Stars and Stripes from 1945 to 1948, and was illustrator and assistant art director for the overseas edition of Time Magazine in the 1970s and early 1980s.
