Martian Manhunter J'Onn J'Onzz
Joe Certa was educated at the Art Students League. He began working in comic books through the Funnies Inc. shop in the mid-1940s. After doing art for companies like Lev Gleason (crime titles), Magazine Enterprises ('Dan'l Boone', 'The Durango Kid'), Fawcett ('Captain Marvel Jr.) and Harvey (romance and mystery titles), he worked extensively as an artist and inker for DC Comics throughout the 1950s and 1960s.
