Chayé is a Belgian cartoonist, who was active in at least the 1970s and 1980s. She published her first drawings in Pilote after presenting her work to René Goscinny, and she subsequenly contributed to Journal d'Europe and Marabout. She eventually got a regular spot in the cultural women's magazine Voyelles with a satirical comic strip starring birds, called 'Les Oiseaux'. A book collection was published in 1980. She has also worked as a drawing teacher in Uccle.
