Francis Taptue Fogue, who uses the artist name Chrisany, was born in Douala, Cameroon in 1978. He created the comic 'Tâ Sâ le futur notable' in 2000. He contributed to several magazines, such as Mongo and Mac BD, as well as to 'A L'Ombre du Baobab', a collection of comics by African artists about education and health in Africa. He is a regular contributor to L'Oeil du Sahel, Popoli and Le Temps, and an illustrator for Mongo and Planète Jeune. In 2001, there was an exhibition of his work in Paris. He published the comic 'Article 5 et 9' in Italy, where it won him a prize. Chrisany lives and works in France.
