Todd Clark is a cartoonist from Boise, Idaho. He grew up in a military family and studied at Boise State University, Idaho. He started his full-time cartooning career in 1990. Clark's cartoons have appeared in magazines ranging from Saturday Evening Post to Diversion to Disney Adventures, and his work is regularly featured in MAD Magazine. He has been a contributing writer to syndicated comic strips like 'Mother Goose and Grimm', 'Bound and Gagged', 'Frank and Ernest', 'Sherman's Lagoon', 'Bizarro', 'New Breed', 'B.C.', 'Wizard of ID', 'Triple Take' and 'Tundra'.
In 1994, he teamed up with Steve Dickenson, with whom he created strips like 'My Brother’s Keeper', 'Military Brats' (for the Air Force Times), the short-lived feature 'Retro Geek' (2008-2009) and, most notably, 'Lola'. This strip, about an independent woman in her late 70s, started syndication in 1999. Initially, Clark did the daily strip and Dickenson the Sundays. Clark has the continued the strip for Universal Uclick on his own since January 2008. Todd Clark released his first illustrated children's book, 'The Ice Cream Kid: Brain Freeze!', in 2014.
