Sherm Cohen was born in 1965 in Los Angeles, California. At the end of the 1990s, he worked on animated series like 'Hey, Arnold!', 'The Amanda Show' and John Kricfalusi's 'The Ren & Stimpy Show'. He became director of the 2004 'Spongebob Squarepants' movie, based on Stephen Hillenburg's famous character, and also drew several comics about this popular cartoon character for Nickelodeon Magazine. He has also drawn 'Hey, Arnold!' comics for his magazine. Sherm himself made an "appearance" in the Spongebob cartoons as Uncle Sherm.
