The Deadly Clue by Paul Cooper
Crime Can't Win #9, February 1952

Paul Cooper worked as a comic book artist during the 1940s and 1950s. In the second half of the 1940s he was working through Jerry Iger's studio. He has done crime features for D.S. Publishing's 'Underworld', horror stories for Fox Comics and Superior Publishers and contributions to 'Beware', published by Youthful Magazines. In the 1950s, he pencilled romance, crime and mystery stories for Atlas comic books like 'Adventures into Weird Worlds', 'Crime Can't Win', 'Justice Comics' and 'Love Adventures'. From 1954 until about 1956, he was mainly active as an inker, presumably over pencils by Jay Scott Pike.
