Matt Brooker has worked as a comic artist under the pen name D'Israeli (or D'Isaeli D'Emon D'raughtsman) since 1988. He started out doing the 'Timulo' strip in Deadline magazine in 1989, soon followed by 'Lazarus Churchyard' with Warren Ellis. He created 'Fatal Charm' together with Shane Oakly, and created 'Future Shocks' in 2000AD. D'Israeli has pencilled 'Mister X' for Vortex Comics, inked 'The Sandman: The Kindly Ones' and 'Kill your Boyfriend' for DC/Vertigo, and has worked as a colorist on series like 'Miracleman', 'Judge Dredd' and 'Rugrats'. He is also working on his personal project, 'D'Adventures of I.S.R.A.E.L.I'. With writer Ian Edginton, he has produced graphic novels like 'Kingdom of the Wicked' and 'Scarlet Traces', as well as the 'Leviathan' series in 2000AD. Other pseudonyms he uses include "Molly Eyre" and "H.V. Derci".
