Daniel Díaz, who published under the name Dani the O, studied comics with Osvaldo Viola (Oswal), humorous drawing with Eduardo Ferro, Goyo Mazzeo and Carlos Garaycochea, and animation at the School of Cinema in Avellaneda. He worked as a scriptwriter for television and as a comics artist. He was co-founder and one of the driving forces of Suélteme magazine. He started out publishing in fanzines in the second half of the 1980s. Since then, he has published in Skorpio, El Tajo, Fierro, País Canibal, Sex Humor, Humi, El Lápiz Japonés, Maldita Garcha, Comiquando and Kapop. He was also active as actor, scriptwriter, producer and director for his own theatre shows. He passed away in March 2008, at the age of 41.
