Cobawunga by Max de Radigues

Max (Maxime) De Radiguès is a comic book artist originally from Brussels. He is also the editor of the publishing label L'Employé du Moi, through which he has released several comic books, that are mostly aimed at adolescents. These include coming-of-age comics like 'Antti' (2007), 'La'Âge dur' (2010) and 'Cobawunga' (2013), as well as the graphic novel 'Jacques Delwitte, Little White Jack' (2008). He releases some of his works as mail-order fanzines, such as 'Moose', 'L'Âge Dur' and 'Bâtard'.

He was artist-in-residence at the Center for Cartoon Studies at White River Junction, Vermont, in 2009-2010. He worked alongside such artists as James Sturm and Jason Lutes, and chronicled his experiences in a weekly page in Focus, the cultural supplement of the Belgian weekly Vif l'Express. He has released several award-winning books for adolescents through Éditions Sarbacane since 2011, including 'Frangins', '520 km' and 'Un été de apnée'. Delcourt released his book 'Orignal' in 2013.
