Maarten De Saeger is a comic artist, freelance illustrator and colorist from Ghent, Belgium. He studied at the Sint-Lucas Schools of Art in Brussels and Ghent and made his debut as a comic artist in 2011 and 2012 with self-published comic books like Stöf and Hattie. His professional debut was 'Mijn Begrafenis', a graphic novel released by Bries in April 2015. De Saegher has additionally made illustrations and comics for Humo, Knack Focus, Plots Stripmagazine, Lannoo and Ketnet. He is a board member of the Flemish online comic magazine Pulp deLuxe.
He was one of several artists to make a comic strip for the arbook 'Building Bridges in Europe’ (2012), published by the European Association of National Builders’ Merchants Associations and Manufacturers (UFEMAT).
