Jean Deras is a Belgian cartoonist and illustrator. He makes caricatures during events and parties, wall and window decorations and comic strips. He made a parody of Willy Vandersteen's 'De Rode Ridder', named 'De Rode Ruiter' with writer Geinz. 't Mannekesblad released two books in 2011 and 2012. He and Geinz both paid graphic homage to Pom in the collective tribute album 'Op Het Spoor van Pom' (2011).
