The Welcome Back Fuck

Drub, or Drubskin, is a San Diego-based fetish artist, and has ties to Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice and punk subcultures. He is mainly known for his homoerotic artwork with fetish elements like footwear, sportswear, rubber, subculture-specific clothing, sado-masochism, and watersports.

He moved from his homestate Connecticut to Kansas City, Missouri, in 1991 to study Illustration at the Kansas City Art Institute. By 1995, he started writing about his sexual exploits in the punk and skinhead scenes for the webzine Nightcharm. Since 2000, his work has appeared in gay magazines from all over the world, such as Gay News Amsterdam, Freshman, Instigator and Blue magazine. He has exhibited his work in Los Angeles, Toronto, Berlin and Amsterdam, and participates in the annual Seattle Erotic Art Festival.

Drubskin's short-story collaboration with writer Dale Lazarov, 'The Welcome Back Fuck', was featured in 'Best Gay Erotica 2007' and subsequently in 'Best of the Best Gay Erotica', both published by Cleis Press. His story 'Dem Bones' was published in Hard To Swallow Comics #3 in 2007, and 'Malware' was published in the 'Turnover Anthology' by AIDS Project Los Angeles.
