World War Wolves

Kyko Duarte is a self-taught artist from Málage, Spain, who started out making advertisements for local television. In 1997, he began a partnership with Miki, with whom he has cooperated on several illustration jobs for the press. Duarte has published over 2,000 of his drawings in his local newspaper. With Miki as his inker and Mathieu Mariolle as scriptwriter, Duarte began 'De Sang Froid', his first comic series published by Bamboo in France between 2004 and 2006.

With Mariolle, he also made an adaptation of Théophile Gautier's 'Le Capitaine Fracasse' for Delcourt in 2008 and 2009, and explored post-war criminal Hollywood in 'Dans la paume du diable' for Glénat in 2013. He ventured into the fantasy genre with 'Chroniques de la Guerre des Fées', a series written by Thomas Mosdi for Soleil from 2011. He worked with Jean-Luc Istin and the same publisher on the first book in the 'Elfes' series in 2013 and the horror fantasy 'World War Wolves' from 2014.
