Ricard Fernandez, who signs with Efa, cancelled his studies and launched a fanzine with his friends, called Realitat Virtual. He then joined and animation studio and began freelancing as an illustrator. He teamed up with Toni Termens in 2001 and created the comic series 'Les Icariades'. A year later, he wrote and drew 'Rodriguez'.
