'Medina'.
Yacine Elghorri was born in Paris, France. He studied animation at the Gobelins film school, and subsequently worked as a character designer for French animated series. In addition, he drew comics for magazines like Kameha (Ed. Glénat). Between 1997 and 2001 he lived in Los Angeles, USA, where he worked as a storyboarder, concept designer and special effects animator at Rich Animation Studios.
'Gunman'.
A year later, he met Japanese comic artist Katsuhiro Otomo, and was inspired to pursue comics, which he published in magazine Heavy Metal. After working as a designer and storyboard artist on several fims, he returned to Paris, where he lives and works. In 2006 he began 'Gunman' with scriptwriter Gabriel Delmas for Ed. Carabas.
In 2007 Elghorri started his solo series 'Factory' with the same publisher. Together with Jean Dufaux, he started the sciencefiction series 'Medina' at Lombard in 2010. He is a teacher in storyboards and design at animation schools.
