from Cocaine Comix, by Dennis Ellefson

Dennis Ellefson began his comix career in the mid-1960s by conributing to 'Big Daddy Roth' for Millar Publications, and underground titles like Wham-o Comics and Wham-o Giant Comics. He then began a longtime collaboration with Petersen Publishing. He was editor of CYCLEtoons, and then of CARtoons from 1975 to 1991. For both magazines, he also did artwork. During the 1970s and 1980s, his art was also present in Last Gasp comix like Slow Death Funnies and Cocaine Comix.
