Richard Elson is a British comic book artist, who began his career in the late 1980s. Since 1988, he has illustrated a great many 2000 AD serials, including 'Tharg's Future Shocks', 'Shadows', 'Judge Dredd', 'Kingdom' and, most notably, 'Atavar' with Dan Abnett. He is one of the main contributors to Fleetway's 'Sonic the Comic' title, and has worked on UK titles like The Beano, 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles', 'Toxic Crusaders' and 'Spider-Man'. For Marvel US, he has worked with Seth Grahame-Smith on 'Marvel Zombies Return: Hulk'. Elson has additionally drawn for World War II books published by Osprey Graphic History.
