C. Elzenga was the artist of the landscape format-shaped comic book 'Helden in het Oerwoud', a story about the first five missionaries among the Auca indigenous people. The comic was written by C. Swaan-Koopman and published by the Counsel for the Mission of the Dutch Reformed Church.
