The Famous Five (De 5 detectives from Dutch magazine Tina 15, 1977)

Ramon Escolano is a Spanish artist who has worked extensively for for the foreign market through Josep Toutain's Selecciones Ilustradas agency. He is best recognized for his work for Vampirella by Warren Publishing in the USA, but he was also a regular in the UK with stories for Eagle magazine and the girls' comic Misty (including comics based on Enid Blyton's 'Famous Five' books).

He was an artist of 'James Bond' stories for Semic in Sweden, he drew many stories for Gespenster Geschichten by Bastei Verlag in Germany during the 1980s. For the Spanish market, he drew the comic 'Buru Landia' in the 1970s, as well as contributions to Lecturas ('Bio-Comics'), Comics ('Johnny Galaxia') and TBO ('Tele TBO').
