Olivier Fagnère studied fine arts in Reims for four years. He was in charge of a multimedia project, and he became a comic artist. He has cooperated on some fanzines. He teamed up with writer Nicolas Tackian to create the heroic comedy series 'Relais et Mago' at Sémic in 2003.
