After his studies at the Artistic Grammar School, Antonio Fara started working for advertising agencies. He moved to Bologna in the early 1980s, where he began working for the magazine Orient-Express ('La Vita Delle Ombre'). He started a collaboration with the Istituto di Design of Bologna, where he created the series 'Mucho Mass', a series that was published in France in L'Echo des Savanes and at the publisher Albin Michel. He drew 'I Folli del Presidio' for Cyborg, before he joined the staff of 'Nathan Never' at Bonelli in 1997.
