João Fazenda was born in Lisbon in 1979. He is the artist of the series 'Loverboy', created by scenarist Marte. This series, situated in the world of students and rock, describes with humor and truth the many different paths of youth, their loves and hatreds. João Fazenda also created an homage to comics in the album 'O Rapaz de Papel', which he made in collaboration with Nuno Artur Silva. This comic, originally intended to be a play, was presented at the EXPO'98.
