Don Figueroa is an artist of 'Transformers' comics at Dreamwave. He had been doing fan art and comics with these 1980s cult cartoon characters, and eventually landed at Dreamwave on a professional base. He started out doing box art for the toys, but eventually took on the 'War Within' series in 2002. The texts are written by Simon Furman, who also wrote the original 'Transformers' comic at Marvel in the 1980s. In 2004, Figueroa began working on the 'Transformers: Generation One' series with writer Brad Mick.
