Richard Forgues, who uses the pseudonym of Forg, was born in Sherbrooke Quebec in 1965. He started as an apprentice in an animation studio in 1984. Five years later he visited the San Diego Convention Comicon with demos for a number of comics projects, such as 'Laundry Land' (Fantagraphics) and 'Adrift' (Dark Horse). Alternatively, he drew storyboards for animation, and a few self-published comics such as 'Epic 1813' and 'Silicon Horizon', along with a sketchbook, published by Tundra in 1991. In 1996 two titles appeared: 'Fable of the North-West' and one episode of the 'Aliens' series, 'Lovesick', at Dark Horse.
