Aisha Franz is a German artist, illustrator and author. She was born in Fürth as the daughter of Colombian-Chilean immigrants, and studied illustration at the School of Art and Design in Kassel between 2004 and 2010. Comics by Franz have appeared in Germany through the indie label Rotopolpress and her own My Own Press, and in anthologies.
Reprodukt released her graphic novels 'Alien' and 'Brigitte under der Perlenhort'. Her debut graphic novel was also published in the English language as 'Earthling' by Drawn & Quarterly. She lives and works in Berlin, where she is part of the comics collective The Treasure Fleet.
