Martha Mwaiselage, who also uses the name Martha Gellege, is one of the few female comic artists in Tanzania. She is mainly known for her character 'Anti Bwalo' and she has published in all major papers. For the popular tabloid Sanifu, she created a series of comics about women in the Tanzanian society, 'Wanawake na Jamii'. Martha Gellege has also illustrated for campaigns, such as 'Tanzanian Motherhood' for the Finnish Tanzanian Friendship Society.
