British artist Charles Gillespie was born in Derry, Northern Ireland. His work was published in 2000 AD and Judge Dredd Megazine. For 2000 AD, he illustrated episodes of 'Sinister Dexter' and 'Vector 13'. In the Megazine, he produced among others 'Armitage', 'Judge Anderson' and 'The Inspectre'.
His sister, Bridgeen Gillespie, is also active as a comic artist.
