Jason Gluskin was born in Boston in 1977. He studied Business Administration and Art at the University of Vermont. He debuted as an illustrator and comic artist in 1999, when his work was published in The Outdoors magazine. In 2003 he developed a comic strip called 'The Munchies', which has been picked up by a few newspapers and several websites including Full Tilt Features Syndicate. In 2004 Jason Gluskin started illustrating a series of books by Canadian author Carol Ann Shipman.
Living in New York City, he took up painting and started to capture the beauty, energy, chaos, harmony and anxiety of NYC into cityscape compositions on canvas. He later also began photographing New York's urban scenes. In 2009 he began displaying and selling his work through various showcases in NYC and New Jersey.
