After his studies in applied arts, Sébastien Gnaedig began his career with several functions at the publishing house Les Humanoïdes Associés between 1996 and 2000. In September 2000, he became the director of the collections Aire Libre and Repérages at the publishing house Dupuis. He also began drawing comics, starting with 'Georges au Supermarché' with a script by Frédéric Léger at the publishing house Ad Hoc, as well as comics for the magazine Ciel et Espace. In 1999, his album 'Mes Voisins sont Formidables' appeared at Le Cycliste. With Thirault, he created 'Videz la Corbeille'.
