In 2009, Goldman chronicled the presidential campaign in real-time with journalist Michael Crowley, which resulted in the graphic novel '08: A Graphic Diary of the Campaign Trail'. With writer Ram Devineni, he made 'Priya's Shakti', an augmented-reality-enabled comic about a raped female superhero who fights sexual violence with the Hindu Goddes Parvati. The idea for the comic arose in the aftermath of a highly-publicized gang rape on a bus in New Delhi in December 2012 that outraged India and the world.

Goldman is co-foudner of the Brooklyn-based webcomics collective ACT-I-VATE. Goldman also serves as Second Screen Experience Architect and Transmedia on the AMC's TV series 'Breaking Bad', and other shows. His 2006 web-comic, 'Shooting War', earned an Eisner Award nomination for Best Digital Comic.
