Ading Gonzales drew for such 1960s Philippine comics publications as Hiwaga Komiks and Tagalog Klasiks. Like most Philippine comic artists of the 1960s, he went to work for the US market during the 1970s, where he contributed to 'Unknown Worlds of Science Fiction'. Ading Gonzales also drew under his real name, Adrian Gonzales, and had a regular stint drawing 'Batman & Superman' in World's Finest during the 1980s. Since 1985 he worked as a model designer and storyboard artist for Marvel, Ruby-Spears, Hanna-Barbera, Graz, Universal, New World and MGM.
