Fernand Louis Gottlob was an graphic artist, portraitist, book illustrator, lithographer and painter. He was a popular caricaturist for Parisian magazines like Le Journal Amusement, Le Rire and Le Sourire. He also contributed to the picture story prints of the Imagerie Quantin (a.o. 'Le Rêve de Jean Guislain').
