Guazzelli was born in 1962 in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. He studied at the Art Academy in Porto Alegre, where he lives and works as animator, art director, illustrator and comic artist. He published his comics in magazines such as Wonderful, Kamikaze, Peek-a-boo, Dundun, Animal, Mil Perigos and Fierro.

Guazzelli's comics are characterized by a blend of reality and fantasy, presenting expressionistic stories in absurd settings. He has participated in expositions and festivals in Germany, Argentina, Belgium, Cuba, Spain, USA, France, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Turkey and Uruguay.
