Mary Hanson-Roberts is a comic book artist from Florida. She is part of the so-called "furry art" scene, a group of artists that specializes in anthropomorphic animals that originated in the indie SF/fantasy scene. Her long-running serial 'Here Comes a Candle' appeared in the furry art anthology 'Furrlough'. Hanson additionally contributed to fanzines and comic books like Centaurs, Gatherum, Huzzah and Women in Fur. Hanson-Roberts displays her drawings of cats and dragons in convention art shows, and has additionally illustrated sets of tarot cards.
