Andy Hartzell published his graphic novel 'Bread and Circuses' in 1995, which won him a Xeric Award. He published his weekly strip 'Fool's Paradise' in several alternative magazines. He contributed to anthologies like 'No More Shaves' (Fantagraphics), 'The Book of Boy Trouble' (Green Candy Press) and 'Top Shelf Presents'.
Hartzell is one of the founders of Global Hobo, a mini comics distribution company in Berkeley. He has self-published two installments of his graphic novel, 'Monday'. His graphic novel 'Fox Bunny Funny' was published by Top Shelf in 2007.
