comic art by Daniel Haupt

Daniel Haupt began his activities in the comics field at Editorial Abril in 1949. At the same time, he drew several covers and comics for Rayo Rojo magazine. He created 'Al y Dan' in 1952, scripted by his brother, followed by 'Hazañas de Tarpón' with scripts by Hector German Oesterheld. He went to Columba publishers later on, where he drew 'El Hombre de Scotland Yard', 'Big Norman' (with Robin Wood) and the western 'Larrigan'. He lived in Mexico for several months in 1957, where he worked with Novaro publishers. Back in Argentina, he teamed up with Oesterheld again to create 'Cayena'.
