Art by Bill Hauser

Bill Hauser is an American alternative comic artist, and a 1996 Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art graduate. He has a preference for monsters, fire, hot rods, zombies, demons and skulls, and he gets his inspiration from the classic 1940s and 1950s horror comics by EC Comics, as well as the work of 80s rock 'n' roll artists like Pushead and Richard Corben. His work is known and loved in the international metal and underground circuit, with his own comics, T-shirt desings and artwork for record covers. He has worked with acts like Ozzy Osbourne, ANTiSEEN, Ghoul, Hirax, In Defence, Skitsystem, FKU, BANE and Hellnation.

Hauser is a teacher at the Minnesota Art Academy, where he has his weekly "comic class". This results in the quarterly comic magazine Sandwich, that he fills with his students. Hauser's comics have been published by Devil's Due Publishing ('The Toxic Avener and other Tromatic Tales') and Dead Dog Comics ('From Heaven To Hell' anthology series), while he also makes illustrations for Lerner Publishing, one of the biggest US publishers of children's books.
