José Miguel Heredia was an Argentinian humorist who created characters like 'Capitan Craig' and 'Marcos Duval' for magazines like Corso Pete and Trinchera. In the early 1960s, he was present in Frontera as the illustrator of several episodes of 'El Cuaderno Rojo'. He edited the magazine TV en Broma, the first humorous TV magazine in the country. He drew for the magazines of Editorial Mazzone, creating characters like 'El Doctor Vudú' and 'Ferranio', and additionally contributed to Satiricón and Caras y Caretas.

His best known comic is 'Perro Mundo', whose adventures appeared in the daily La Nacíon between 1 March 1966 and 4 November 1995.
