After his decorative arts studies, Laurent Hirn joined Claude Lapointe's illustration atelier, where he specialized in comics. He illustrated for a variety of publishers, such as Milan and Larousse and several pocket books. After meeting scenarist Luc Brunschwig, he started the 'Le Pouvoir des Innocents' series. This thriller series ended in 2002, when the fifth episode appeared.
