Walter Hofmann was a Nazi caricaturist, who signed his work with the pseudonym Von Waldl. He is best known for his antisemitic cartoon book 'Lacht ihn Tot', in which he presented a series of images of the construction of the Jewish body. During World War II, he contributed to magazines like Das Schwarze Korps and the army daily Wacht im Westen - Frontzeitung unserer Armee, a publication of the Propaganda Kompanie.
