Marc van der Holst started off self-publishing his comic 'Spekkie Big', which got its break when it was published by magazine Sjosji. Since then, Spekkie Big, the naive pig and his upsidedown friend Deef, appeared in magazines such as Propria Cures and Zone 5300. Marc van der Holst also works as a graphic designer and plays the drums in several bands.
